A merger of two manufacturers

Whistle Stop Plastics Ltd and Modern Moulds Ltd, were two individual manufacturers with a shared goal, to listen to customer’s ideas and help them achieve it. As a result, in June 2017 WSM Plastics was created! A merger of the two companies who have been working together for many years, with mutual goals and values, our partnership is a strong asset.

1987

Modern Moulds and Tools Ltd was created. The company offered businesses in the plastics industry high-end design and bespoke manufacturing of moulds.

1997

Whistle Stop Plastics was established by Modern Moulds and Tools as their sister company following customer feedback for an injection moulder to work alongside them.

Although they were two independent companies, both worked together to provide injection moulding and tooling services to customers.

2011

|

Whistle Stop Plastics Ltd and Modern Moulds Ltd were integrated into the Bright-Tech Investments Group, the parent company of WSM Plastics.  All Bright-Tech Investments Group businesses share the same values of customer focus, premium quality, and innovation.

2017

Whistle Stop Plastics Ltd and Modern Moulds merged and became WSM Plastics Ltd.

2019

|

In April 2019 WSM Plastics was acquired by Seko S.p.A. Seko, founded in 1976 with their headquarters in Italy, is a global leader and manufacturer of dosing pumps and control technology. WSM Plastics continues to operate under its own name as a separate entity to Seko, retaining its existing R&D, sales, marketing and administration functions while continuing its long-term growth strategy.

At WSM Plastics, we take your product idea from concept to creation. We adopt a unique approach focused on individual project development, by offering comprehensive and tailored services.
